[07/07/20]   Hi everyone. It's been a crazy few months. Covid quarantine shut me down for 3 months and the virus is still causing issues in the massage world. Looks like the numbers are climbing in our surrounding counties. I am leaving the studio in Powers. Peggy will continue running the hair salon. She doesn't have plans to add any new business in there. I don't have a definite date of closure yet, but I'm thinking in the next week or so. My family and I are in the process of moving to Gwinn. When the covid craziness is either under control or there's an available successful treatment, I will be offering massages in your home. I have a growing list of names, if you'd like to be on it, please private message me. I want to Thank everyone who has supported me over the last 12 years. [05/27/20]   Hi everyone. I hope you are all well. I spoke with my Insurance and checked in with LARA to see if I am considered a part of the "non essential medical" personnel whose restrictions are lifting on Friday. What I was told are Massage therapists can not do any type of massage in a chiropractic office, in homes, or out of my own private practice for the time being. Frustrating, yes! Only medical offices are allowed to have Therapists at this time and that's with a prescription from the Dr. Or a slip from a chiro. . Well, there aren't many medical offices that offer this service. I don't agree with it, but it is what it is. She also said there is nothing listed at this time when they plan to review this policy. I'm ready to get back, but I have to follow the guidelines. [05/01/20]   Well, looks like I'm in the same boat as hair salons. Unable to work to May 28th now. My shop will remained closed at this time. I miss you all.
[04/03/20]   Hey everyone. Just wanted to give you an update. As of now the earliest I can go back is May 1st. It may be longer. I strongly suggest everyone to stay home and stay safe. The sooner we can adhere to this, the quicker we can move on to normalcy. This is a stressful and scary time for all of us. I am confident we will make it through. Representative Beau Matthew LaFave The NRC just voted to ban baiting and feeding in Dickinson, Delta and Menominee counties in perpetuity. They voted NO on a 2 year sunset. They voted NO on a disability exception and effectively made it impossible for the elderly and disabled to hunt. This will do NOTHING to stop the spread of CWD (which isn’t even in the UP anyway).

Wisconsin did this and their hunting population plummeted and CWD spread like wildfire. The NRC is ending a tradition we have held since before the UP was forced to join Lower Michigan over 100 years ago. This disgusting decision is bad for the deer, bad for local businesses, bad for tourism, bad for tradition, and terrible for the few hunters we have left. I am furious and will not take this sitting down.
[07/04/19]   Hey everyone! Have you ever heard of L’Bri? I didn’t until a few weeks ago. Those who know me know I’m not a product junkie. I dont wear make up, I never moisturize 😆. I went to a facial party and purchased some of the products and I absolutely love them. They are Aloe Vera based. Anyways, I’m going to have a facial party so you can see how cool this stuff is! Sunday July 14th at 1:00 central time at my studio. All are welcome to attend and bring a friend if you’d like. It’s gonna be fun! Please let me know if you’re able to make it so I have an idea of how many to prepare for! Thanks!

[11/25/18]   Hey everyone! I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Just want to let you all know, my schedule is quite full for December and booking into January. I will not be working weekends either. With this being said, I will not be taking any new clients for a few months. Thank you all!!
[09/05/18]   Just want to let you know, I have accepted an office position 3 days a week at another facility. I will still be doing massages as well, just cutting back to a couple days a week. My schedule will be hectic and that is ok. Please be patient as I transition into my “new normal”. Thanks for understanding! ❤️💆🏼‍♀️
[09/01/18]   Ten years ago today I opened up my own massage business in a very small town, not knowing many people, or how it would go. My goal was to do it for a couple years then move on. I surely never expected to be going strong 10 years later. I want to Thank each and every one of you who have walked through my door and trusted me to care for you. I love my job and I am so grateful for the people I have met! However, With this being said, some big changes are in the near future and I will keep you posted!! [07/16/18]   Please be aware of your appointment dates/times. I know it’s summer and you are busy, but if you schedule an appointment and are a no call/no show, or an “I forgot”, I have to charge you for the missed appointment. I show up for you, do the same for me. My time is valuable and if I don’t need to be here, I’m with my family. If you know you can’t make it, a 24 hour notice is sufficient enough for me to be able to fill your spot. If I make a mistake with scheduling, I will also make it up to you. Thank You!!
[06/29/18]   Hi everyone. Starting tomorrow (Friday) at Noon, I will be on vacation. If you need to schedule an appointment that is great, but understand that I will be “off the grid”. [01/10/18]   Hi everyone! You all know that I am quite lenient on my expiration dates and transfers for a gift certificate purchase. I understand life gets busy, or you misplace it, etc. However, if you make an appointment for a massage and intend to use your expired certificate, and you are a no call, no show, I have no choice but to void your certificate from now on. I have to become more strict with this policy as I am sitting here right now with this situation. I could have filled this time slot for somebody else. Please be respectful of my time. Also the certificate must be presented at the time of appointment unless you talk to me about prior to. Thank you for understanding!!

[12/22/17]   I had the honor to provide massage therapy to 13 employees at Bellin Clinic yesterday. So much fun and what a great group of people. I was really surprised as to how many of them had never received a professional massage before! Glad I was able to provide for them all! I know for certain that if you go there for your health care, you are in great care!!! 😃💆🏼
